Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is currently experiencing a total outage, with its website displaying 503 errors. Coinbase is dealing with a major outage that began at 4:15 a.m. UTC. The exchange's X account said it was investigating the outage and assured users of the safety of their funds.
A Coinbase spokesperson said the company had nothing to add beyond the X post. The price of Bitcoin (BTC) appears to be unaffected by the issue and is currently trading above $62,500, up more than 2.7 percent, according to data from CoinDesk Indices. Coinbase's website shows a message that "503 service is temporarily unavailable." Coinbase said in a post on the X account that it is investigating the issue and working to find a solution.
