Trump teases Bidens, Boden Memecoin surges

Former US President Donald Trump weighed in on a token mocking his political rival Joe Biden during an audience question and answer session on Wednesday, saying he didn't like the investment. Trump has also expressed a willingness to accept cryptocurrency donations.

The token, called Jeo Boden (BODEN), is a joke cryptocurrency derived from a misspelling of US President Joe Biden's name. After a fan asked about it, the token shot up by as much as 25%. Trump was speaking at the Trump Cards NFT Gala at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

While the token fluctuated after peaking at $0.42, it was still trading at $0.40 at the time of reporting, up about 15 percent from when Trump made his comments.
